Since 2019, the Sakura Cherry Tree Project has been distributing over 7,500 trees throughout the United Kingdom to parks, gardens and schools.

As of February 2024, over 900 parks, gardens and schools have been identified as planting locations, and are participating in this project. These include four Royal Parks: The Regent’s Park, Richmond Park, Greenwich Park and Bushy Park.
