Thirty cherry blossom trees have been planted at the University of Stirling\u2019s campus as a mark of the friendship between the University and Japan.<\/p>\n

Senior representatives from Stirling and\u00a0Nagasaki University<\/a>, who signed a Memorandum of Understanding last year, were joined by\u00a0Japanese Consul General in Edinburgh<\/a>, Katsutoshi Takeda, and Cultural Consul Masataka Abe for an unveiling ceremony – with a plaque installed at one of the planting sites beside the Beech Court student accommodation.<\/p>\n
